Breast Cancer Research at USF

In the Fall of 2015, USF's Avon Breast Cancer Study was launched with the goal of identifying biomarkers for the detection of breast cancer. Thanks to the participation of women from the USF community and beyond, the project has been a huge success! Dr. Juliet Spencer (Professor, USF College of Arts and Sciences) will discuss the results of the study thus far and the prospect of developing a future diagnostic test.

Every day we are unwittingly exposed to carcinogens - in our air, water, food, and products. Cathy Coleman (Assistant Professor, SONHP) and Barbara Sattler (Professor, SONHP) will discuss how to decrease exposure to cancer-causing chemicals in your environment.
