AIDS Walk San Francisco
The 28th Annual AIDS Walk San Francisco was a great success! Established in 1982, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation formed with the mission to radically reduce new infections in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. because no city experienced epidemic levels of HIV faster than San Francisco. The AIDS Walk helps support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation through its ongoing work and partnership with organizations that provide medical care, home-delivered meals, women's and children's services, and much more to people living with HIV/AIDS throughout the Bay Area. In support of this mission, the USF Dons team shattered their fundraising goal of $1,000 by raising an astonishing $2,665. With 35 participants, the team had representation from ITS, School of Management, Events Management and Guest Services, Arts and Science, Student Life, and Law School. Thank you to all of those who walked the walk, hills and all during the AIDS Walk this year! Our star fundraisers include:
