Komal Nyasavargula

pronouns: she/her/hers
Major: Business Analytics, Psychology Minor '26

"Komal Image"

I am a fourth-year Business Analytics major and Psychology minor at USF. I am passionate about creating equality while maintaining a safe and positive environment for all. I enjoy immersing myself in spaces where I have the opportunity to create change and positively impact others, especially here at USF.

I joined REPS to help create the notion of safety regarding sexual wellness and topics of sexual violence. I want to be able to create opportunities for students to learn more about consent, sexual wellness, and ways to have that open dialogue while encouraging and supporting one another. I want to be able to bring light to topics that are often overlooked or misunderstood, bringing forth education in an encouraging, positive sense.

Piper O'Bryan

Pronouns: she/her/hers
Major: nursing '28

I am a second-year nursing student at USF. I am passionate about equitable healthcare and the relationship between reproductive justice and wellness. I chose USF largely due to its value of social progression. I joined REPs to help instill positive change in our community here at USF. I believe all students should have access to information and resources to make healthy, empowering, and autonomous choices. I am devoted to opening up dialogue around consent and safety, as well as lessening the stigma around related issues. I love to connect with my peers via workshops and trainings. I have prior experience in the field of peer sexual education and am excited to continue my work.  I hope to extend resources to those seeking support and demystify the processes of the Title IX office.

Ren Collins

Pronouns: they/them/theirs
Major: Communication Studies '25

Ren Collins is a dedicated Communications major and Writing minor in their final semester at the University of San Francisco. Their passion for raising awareness about sexual assault and fostering equitable environments is deeply informed by their current academic research.

For their thesis, Ren is exploring the historical and contemporary frameworks of Black femme autonomy in love and pleasure. This work examines how reclaiming bodily and emotional agency acts as a powerful form of resistance against systemic oppression. Ren is passionate about applying these critical theories to practical, real-world situations, aiming to help dismantle the systems of oppression and hate that perpetuate violence and inequality in America today.

Eager to translate academic insight into actionable change, Ren is thrilled to contribute their skills in communication, research, and advocacy to the vital work of the Title IX office.

Jamie Lumetta

Pronouns: he/him
Major: Sociology '28

I am a second year Sociology student at USF and hope to be on a Board of Education eventually. I chose to attend USF because of the diverse community and how much support is offered to the students regardless of identities.

I joined REPs because I want students to be able to have enjoyable and positive sexual experiences with access to the information and resources they need for this. Encouraging respectful and healthy conversation around sex is also important on a college campus to ensure that people are not being taken advantage of and can make mutual choices without threat or coercion.I hope that students have access to resources and feel safe seeking support from the Title IX Office if they need it.

Bao Phan

Pronouns: he/him
Major: Public Health '28

My goal in life was unclear until I got accepted here at USF. I realized through my major in Public Health that I wanted to help communities and positively impact them in any way I can.

I joined REPS in order to keep a positive attitude towards the social and sexual climate at USF. I also want to make sure different communities are heard through opportunities presented in REPS.
