CAPS provides brief, time-limited therapy to enrolled students, individual and group sessions, single session therapy, and mental health services.

At USF's Koret Health and Recreation Center, the newly renovated weight rooms provide elite level training zones with a selection of Olympic weights, plate-loaded machines, heavy lifting platforms, functional training equipment, barbells, dumbbells, and selectorized (cable-driven) circuits. The facility houses the largest indoor pool in San Francisco (voted the Best in the City), basketball gymnasiums (2), fitness studio, martial arts room, air rifle range, racquetball court, and a competitive boxing gym.
The Koret Health and Recreation Center also supports student Sport Clubs including baseball, boxing, dance, equestrian, martial arts, sailing, rugby, swim, volleyball, water polo (and more), and Intramural Leagues including basketball, indoor/outdoor soccer and volleyball. The popular Outdoor Adventure program offers a variety of outings around the Bay Area including ski trips, zipline/ropes course, hiking, amusement parks, horseback riding, outlet shopping and professional sporting events.
The University of San Francisco offers academic assistance to all students through the Learning Center, Writing Center, and Speaking Center. Services are free and include subject-specific tutoring, writing assistance, and communication-related support. The Learning Center also provides opportunities for academic skill development, through 1:1 coaching, group workshops, and online resources.
