Building Access
A significant aspect of the USF One Card's suite of services is building access for your One Card. Access is determined by existing policy, Access Managers of the building, or Supervisor authorization; therefore, card and alarm access varies from person to person.
Academic buildings have the same standard schedule during the academic year: Entry doors are accessible by phone tap/card swipe 24/7 with the exception of Holidays/campus closures. There maybe areas and times where hours maybe more restrictive than the standard building-hours schedule, based on a request made by the manager (in this case, the person responsible for the area or group).
If you would like more information regarding Card Access or Alarm Access, please visit the links found under the main One Card Menu or by selecting the links below.
Card Access
As a current USF cardholder, you may use your USF One Card to unlock doors and gain entrance into University buildings and facilities.
Alarm Access
The One Card Office administers alarm codes that current USF faculty and staff members may use to arm/disarm alarmed areas.
Who Are Access Managers?
Access Managers assist the University with maintaining an accurate record of who should have access to a building and when.
