Admitted undergraduate student financial aid offers (2024-25)

Welcome and congratulations on your admissions class of 2028! We have some exciting news to share. The Financial Aid office is preparing to release financial aid offer letters for newly admitted undergraduate students beginning April 19, 2024. Once they’re ready, you’ll receive a notification and you can view your financial aid offer on your Dons Status page and on your myUSF Student Self-Service portal. To access myUSF, you’ll need to create a myUSF account first. If you have questions on financial aid or need information on financial aid appeals, please register and join us at one of our upcoming Zoom webinars.

2024-25 FAFSA corrections Open

The Department of Education has announced that students and their contributors can now make corrections to their 2024-2025 FAFSA. This includes the ability to add a school, sign the FAFSA, provide consent and approval to transfer IRS data, and more. For additional information on how to make a FAFSA correction, please review the "How To Correct or Update Your FAFSA Form" guide. Please allow USF about 3-5 business days to receive your FAFSA correction or update. If you encounter any issues, please refer to the FAFSA Issue Alerts or contact our office. In some cases, you may need to contact Federal Student Aid (FSA) support.

Summer 2024 financial aid

Are you planning to enroll in summer classes and utilize financial aid? Financial aid funds for summer are typically limited for most students. Once you are enrolled in summer courses, the Financial Aid Office will assess your eligibility for aid. Please allow 2-3 business days after enrolling in summer courses. Your financial aid package will be available through your myUSF Self-Service portal, where you can review and either accept or decline the aid offered. If you would like to discuss your financial aid eligibility prior to registering for the summer term, we encourage you to reach out to the Financial Aid Office to speak with a counselor.

2024-2025 FAFSA and CA Dream Act Applications Now Available!

The 2024-2025 FAFSA and CA Dream Act are now available to complete. The Department of Education recently announced that school's will not be receiving student FAFSAs until mid-March. The FAFSA Simplification Act is bringing significant changes and overhaul to the processes and systems to award federal student aid. We encourage you to regularly check our website for the most up-to-date information regarding FAFSA and CA Dream Act release, deadlines, and any other relevant details.
