Auditing a Course

Graduate Students: Contact your school or college about auditing courses.

Directions:
Please note that not all courses are eligible to be audited. Please consult with your adviser or school dean before proceeding.

1. Register for the course online in Banner Student Self Service.
2. Send an email by Census Date from your USF email account to registrar@usfca.edu to request to change your registration of the course to Audit.

Taking a Course as Pass-Fail

Undergraduate Students

Graduate Students: Contact your school or college about taking courses as pass-fail.

Directions:
Please note that not all courses are eligible to be taken as pass-fail. Courses for a student’s major, minor, or any degree requirement may not be taken for pass-fail. Please consult with your advisor or school dean before proceeding.

1. Register for the course online in Banner Student Self Service.
2. Send an email to the appropriate school official below by Census Date from your USF email account to request to take the course as pass-fail.
