Meet the 2019–20 Senator Representatives

There are up to nine senator representatives to complete the Graduate Student Senate. They represent the voice of the Associated Graduate Students of the University of San Francisco (AGSUSF). Senator representatives are responsible primarily to their respective AGSUSF constituent community.

When Andy isn't studying or sleeping, you can find him either exploring the city or running the trails of Golden Gate Park or Presidio. He pursued a Biology major at the University of Washington, and then came to the Bay to pursue his passion in biotechnology at the epicenter of the industry. He is currently employed as a business development associate at a small biotech/pharma consulting firm. With many years of experience on teams, first running cross country and track for the University of Washington and now running at USF, he hopes to bring his knowledge of teamwork and what it takes to make a group to succeed to our Graduate Student Senate.

Victoria Juarez

Victoria was born and raised in Southern California and moved up to the Bay Area to attend Santa Clara University in 2014. She's been living in San Francisco for the past year and a half and absolutely loves it! She is currently working towards earning her MA in Organization and Leadership with the hopes of entering the field of higher education/student affairs upon graduation. In her spare time, she loves to read (she's in a book club), try new restaurants, and enjoy the San Francisco sun on the rare days it comes out!

Monica Duran

Monica grew up in a small town outside of Sacramento, California, and moved out to the East Bay in Fall 2007 to attend UC Berkeley. During her undergraduate career, she worked in Event Management for both the Athletic Department and the Student Union. In her spare time, she works Event Management at the Oakland Arena and Coliseum and enjoys traveling and eating!

Soham ChatterjeeSoham Chatterjee

Soham was born in Durgapur, India. After completing his high school in Kolkata, India, he pursued Computer Science Engineering in Ranchi, India. He had been working as a software engineer, and then as a technical product manager for around 5 years in both India and Germany before pursuing is MBA at USF. Soham has a professional scuba-diver's license and enjoys playing tennis, badminton, and is an avid follower of Cricket.

Parineeta is an MSFA student at USF and aspires to become an investment banker. She was born and raised and completed her Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Cummins College in India. She has worked as a network engineer for the telecom giant Ericsson for about 3 years. Parineeta's interests are dancing, painting, riding bikes, and writing. She is currently serving as a School of Management Representative.

Kirsten Joyce Ignacio serves as the Senator for the SONHP Representative for GSS, Student Representative for the USF Board of Trustees Committee on Information Technology Strategy, as well as the AACN's Graduate Nursing Student Academy Liaison for USF. She was born and raised in the Bay Area. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's Entry-Master of Science in Nursing while working as a respite care provider for clients with autism and an ICU Unit Secretary at Stanford Health Care. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, read, watch movies, travel, try new foods, and play with her dogs.

Jennifer serves as the Senator for the School of Nursing and Health Professionals (SONHP) for GSS and a student ambassador for the SONHP. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Biology (physiology) and a minor in Chemistry. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing. Outside of school, she works as a Patient Care Assistant as UCSF and volunteers in the Emergency Department at ZSFGH. She loves traveling, adventure, eating, and the occasional lazy-in-bed days.

Grace Kim

Grace Kim is currently serving as the Orange County Campus Representative for the Graduate Student Senate. She is a full-time student in the Master's Entry MSN Program and serves as a tutor on campus. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University of California Irvine with a degree in English and Philosophy, and a minor in Biological Sciences. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, drinking coffee, watching horror movies, and anything that involves DIY.
