Support for Additional Locations and Graduate Students
The Learning Center strives to foster the enhancement of academic skills and abilities to assist students in becoming independent learners by providing all USF students with support through one-on-one tutoring and coaching appointments, as well as workshops and online resources.
The Learning Center provides peer tutoring in over 80 subjects each semester for both undergraduate and graduate students. We support students enrolled in courses at USF's additional campus locations through one-on-one tutoring appointments, utilizing "Zoom" (video). Zoom can be accessed by all USF students through the myUSF dashboard.
To schedule an appointment, log into myUSF, in the upper right hand corner, select your user name then scroll down to "MyApps", then select Tutoring. For further instructions on locating a tutor by subject and scheduling and appointment, use this guide.
Appointments can be booked no more than two weeks in advance and no less than 24 hours in advance.
For all USF students who are interested in developing their academic skills, one-on-one academic coaching is available through the Learning Center. Students can make appointments, either in-person or via Zoom (video), under “Quick Links” on any of our webpages. More information can be found on our study skills and resources page.
The Learning Center offers a variety of academic workshops, and our staff can visit USF’s additional campus locations to provide them for students upon request. More information, including the Academic Skills Workshop request form, can be found on our study skills and resources page.
