Make an Appointment
Your tutor expects that you will arrive on time to your tutoring sessions and be prepared to work. Your tutor will wait 15 minutes before declaring the appointment Missed by Student. If you know you are running late, contact us at (415) 422-6713 to leave your tutor a message.
Students are allowed three Late Cancellations/Missed Appointments each semester (see our Appointment Cancellation Policy below). Once you have accumulated three, you are no longer eligible to receive tutoring for the remainder of the semester. From that point, we encourage you to continue using your other resources such as faculty office hours, classmates, and drop-in tutoring where available.
Appointments must be cancelled from the student dashboard in the Salesforce scheduling system. Log into Salesforce, locate your appointment on the dashboard, click on the edit icon next to the word "Confirmed", and select Cancel Appointment (detailed directions below).
Appointments should be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty. Cancelling an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment time or missing the appointment will result in a strike. Students receiving 3 or more strikes in a semester will lose their tutoring privileges for the remainder of the semester.

Additionally, students, faculty members, or staff members may call 415-422-6713 or stop by Gleeson Library, Room G03 (Lower Level) to speak with a Learning Center, Writing Center, or Speaking Center representative.
