How to Add/Drop Classes

Spring 2026 Registration Dates and Deadlines

Deadline Name Date Description
Last Day to Add Online Friday, January 30th The last day to add classes once the semester begins.
Last Day to Drop (Census Date*) Friday, February 13th  The last day to drop a classes online with no 'W' (Withdrawn) going into your academic transcript.
Last Day to Withdraw Monday, April 13th The last day to withdraw from a class (or classes) with a 'W' (withdrawal) notated on your academic transcript. 
Registration Week for Continuing Undergraduate Students Monday, April 20th - Friday, April 24th You will be assigned a registration access time online through Banner Self-Service.**
Last Day to Register for Fall 2026 Friday, June 19th Registration period ends for Fall 2026 students.

The class's "Last Day to Drop" can be found on the "Fall Registration Calendar" for each specific term, or contact the Office of the University Registrar at (415) 422-7260 or registrar@usfca.edu for assistance.

**Check your registration access time to know when your registration date is.

FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES ASSISTANCE DROP-INS

CASA will be hosting drop-ins during the first week of classes for Spring 2026 to help with general questions and procedures.
Date: Monday, January 26th - Friday, January 30th, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: CASA Lobby on the UC 3rd Floor
