Office Of Sustainability Student Team
Nice to meet you! We at the Office of Sustainability are a combination of students and staff from a multitude of backgrounds, majors, and experiences. Our student team is here to provide support and education to the USF community to reduce environmental harm done by our campus, and to empower community members with life-long green habits and knowledge.

Hi! My name is Paige, and I've been very passionate about sustainability from a young age. My elementary school back home in Indiana even took us on hikes through the Dunes National Park! As I grew older, I realized that in addition to stewardship, environmental justice and climate change mitigation are extremely important to me. You can find me around campus at clubs such as SEEDS, PAWS, and the craft club, and I'm on the club jiu jitsu team at USF. Some fun facts about me are that I've been vegan since I was 12, and I was a gymnast for 14 years.

Tamara Perera
SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
3rd Year Chemistry Major
Hey folks! I’m Tamara, and I love the environment! Growing up across the world, from New York, to Hong Kong, to Sri Lanka, and now San Francisco, I’ve seen many different perspectives on how people view nature and the world around us. So far, SF is the place that does the most to preserve our beautiful Mother Earth. It’s been an honor to be a part of the Office of Sustainability here at USF for over a year, and I hope to continue to do so until I graduate. Being in the office has taught me the true importance of sustainability, and I look forward to sharing that knowledge with you all! Some fun facts about me are that I speak 4 languages, and in my free time I enjoy playing badminton, basketball, and cooking.
Can’t wait to get to meet you all, and let’s have a sustainable year together!
