Teaching Weekend Schedule
To accommodate the schedule of working adults, the teaching weekend schedule is used for Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.
- Courses following the teaching weekend schedule are noted in the schedule of classes each semester. Teaching weekend classes will meet only on those Friday and Saturday dates (Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons in-person).
- DNP Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP and PMHNP) class schedules on DNP teaching weekends will be scheduled all day Friday in addition to required Saturday courses. FNP and PMHNP students also have weekly clinical participation during the four (4) course clinical series. Specifics will be reviewed at orientation or by inquiry.
