Duty Structure

Residence Director On Duty (RDOD) Rotation

Duty rotations are comprised of week-long shift. Shifts are from Tuesday at 12:00 PM to the following Tuesday at 12:00 PM.

Expectations When On Duty

  • Have the phone on and be available 24/7. Remain within a fifteen-minute RETURN radius of campus.
  • Ensure all staff call in by 5:00 PM.  Call hall staff duty phones that do not call in. Complete staffing duty report and include information on late calls and missed duty. 
  • Complete a duty report by 9 AM the next business day for all calls received.
  • Do not consume alcohol/drugs while on call.
