Continuing Students

Approximately three weeks before continuing student registration begins, continuing students will receive a registration notice via their myUSF email. This notice provides pertinent information regarding the registration calendar, payment dates, registration holds, and registration access times.

Some continuing students may have advising holds placed. Those students must see their advisers in order to clear the hold. Even students without holds are still encouraged to meet with their advisers to discuss their registration and their degree progress.

Undergraduate Students

Registration for Fall 2026 begins on Monday, April 20, 2026.  Summer registration remains open and students may also continue registering for summer classes. Undergraduates register by seniority based on earned credits. You may view the Undergraduate Registration Access Times Chart to see your registration date and time.

Graduate & Doctoral Students

Registration for Fall 2026 begins on Monday, April 13, 2026.  Summer registration remains open and students may also continue registering for summer classes.

  • Monday, April 13, 2026 (Begins 8:30 a.m.): College of Arts and Sciences
  • Tuesday, April 14, 2026 (Begins 8:30 a.m.): School of Education
  • Wednesday, April 15, 2026 (Beings 8:30 a.m.): School of Nursing & Health Professions
  • Thursday, April 16, 2026 School of Management (MBA Students by registration access time only)

Summer 2026 Important Dates & Deadlines*:

April 13, 2026: Continuing graduate and doctoral students may continue registering for summer classes.
April 20, 2026: Continuing undergraduate students may continue registering for summer classes.
May 1, 2026: Tuition due date for Summer. Methods of Payment. (Note: Registration & Refund dates may vary by course. For more information on a specific course, please visit the Summer 2026 Registration Calendar.)
May 26, 2026: Summer Classes begin.
July 3, 2026: Independence Day Observed (no classes).
August 14, 2026: Classes/Exams End.

Fall 2026 Important Dates & Deadlines*:

April 13, 2026: Continuing Graduate and Doctoral Student Registration begins (please refer to Registration Schedule above).
April 20, 2026: Continuing Undergraduate Student Registration begins (please refer to Registration Schedule above.)
August 1, 2026: Tuition due date for Fall. Methods of Payment.
August 24, 2026: Deadline to withdraw or take a leave of absence for Fall 2026 with 100% Tuition Refund. See refund policy and schedule here.
August 25, 2026: Fall Classes begin.
August 31, 2026: Last Day to Add Classes.
September 11, 2026: Last Day to Drop a Course with 100% Refund (Note: Registration and Refund dates may vary by course. For more information on a specific course, please visit the Fall 2026 Course Registration Deadlines on the Fall 2026 Registration Calendar or contact the Office of the University Registrar at 415-422-7260.) 
November 6, 2026: Last Day to Drop Courses or Withdraw
December 9, 2026: Classes End.
December 11, 2026: Final Exams Begin. 
December 17, 2026: Final Exams End.
