Somos USF

Welcome to Somos USF of the University of San Francisco!

Our purpose is to rebuild and create spaces for connection. We sponsor gatherings for Latiné/x faculty & staff to come together, both for community building and to support Latiné/x students.

We celebrate the Latiné/x community we have by highlighting Latinx scholarship and leadership on campus - at the library, through campus awards, in official university communications, etc.

Join us at one of our Latiné/x-specific summer send-off and welcome back events every Spring and Fall.

Somos USF Upcoming Events

Somos USF Luncheon
Monday, May 12th, 11:30am-1pm in McLaren Complex 
Come enjoy lunch and celebrate the end-of-the-year with your Latiné/x colleagues. The luncheon is the same day as the Latiné/x Recognition Ceremony (LRC), which honors and celebrates our graduating Latiné/x students. We invite you to join us for lunch, and then again in the procession and on stage at 5pm at St. Ignatius Church to demonstrate how proud we are of Latiné/x student achievements.
