Arrupe Immersions 2026-2027
Trips this academic year will be in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, and South Korea. We will be focusing on social justice issues that our students, community, and partners care most about.
Please note: Students graduating in the Spring semester are not eligible to participate in the Summer Immersion programs. Exceptions: students who are walking in the Spring Commencement ceremony but will continue to be enrolled in either summer classes or will be a continuing student in the following Fall semester.
Inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’, this immersion in Quito and Yasuní National Park explores the deep connections between Indigenous ecologies, education, and culture.
This program will provide an understanding of several issues (education, children, migration, race) and solutions that Jesuits, and other organizations, are providing to such problems.
This immersion invites students to explore Hawaii beyond what most visitors get to see — engaging directly with communities affected by colonialism, economic inequality, environmental challenges, and resilience.
World Youth Day (WYD) is a global gathering of young people from around the world who come together for a powerful experience of faith, community, and cultural exchange.
