Justice Leadership Collective

Cultural Diversion Immersion

The Justice Leadership Collective is a cohort-based series that is open to all students who are passionate about social justice and are interested in becoming leaders in making a difference. Whether you're just beginning your journey or looking to deepen your understanding, this series offers valuable insights and opportunities for growth.

Fall 2025 Program

We will welcome a cohort of up to 25 students for our Fall 2025 Justice Leadership Collective program. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to register.  Students who join will learn from a small group of trained facilitators from the Cultural Centers and also grow by connecting and learning from each other.

Participants who complete the series will earn 3 digital "badges" for display on your LinkedIn under your skills and endorsement section. These are excellent for sharing your skill set and in consideration for future employment opportunities.

What Students Can Expect:

  • Interactive Sessions: Participation in dynamic and interactive workshops that encourage open dialogue and self-reflection.
  • Expert Facilitators: Learn from experienced facilitators from the Cultural Centers and across campus who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights on society and social justice.
  • Collaborative Learning: Work in a small cohort to build meaningful connections and share diverse perspectives.
  • Actionable Strategies: Gain practical tools and strategies to advance equity and inclusion within their social environments.
  • Supportive Community: Become part of a supportive network committed to making a positive impact on campus and beyond.

Registration for the 2025 Cohort will open in early August.

Why do students sign up for CDI?

  • "I am interested in signing up for these workshops because I want to learn more about cultural identity and the specific knowledge-based skills that can be used to describe my own cultural experiences and that of others. I want to participate in the workshops in order to challenge my perspective and surround myself with individuals who have a similar interest in social justice."

  • "I am interested in signing up for these workshops as I have been wanting to learn more about cultural diversity and developing my skills and knowledge surrounding social justice while also learning more about racial injustices and the ways in which they are embedded in society and the structure of America. I am looking to learn more and expand upon the materials I have been able to learn about in both my major and minors. Going forward after my senior year and thinking about life after I graduate, I hope to use all of the learning opportunities both inside and outside of class I have gained to create change and be a member of a larger global community that brings my education and knowledge to my professional and personal endeavors."
