Photocopying & Printing

To reduce environmental impact and unnecessary costs, it is the School’s policy that course documents, such as syllabi and readings, be posted online via Canvas whenever possible.

Faculty can access all public Xerox printers/copiers on Hilltop and Branch campus for printing, duplicating, and scanning needs. Faculty must have a USF OneCard in order to gain access to these machines. Faculty should contact their Department Program Assistant with the RCN number located on the front of their OneCard. This will allow Faculty to charge printing and copies to the department. All print and copy charges are tracked by the Dean’s Office.

Copy machines for faculty and staff use can be found in the CEL/IME/DLS and TED/L&I departments. Additional public-use copy machines are located on the basement, first and second floor levels of the Education Building.

Large or Specialty Print Jobs

Larger copy jobs or those requiring bindery, folding, off-set printing are available from Copy Mill. A request email indicating the number of copies needed, the due date, etc., must be submitted with any materials to be duplicated. This request email must be sent to the Department Program Assistant and must be approved by the Department Chair.

Faculty should allow enough time for completion of the necessary paperwork to ensure timely delivery of photocopies (check with Department Program Assistant) and note that it takes at least 48 hours for the completion of any duplicating work.

Printing

Faculty can print directly to any University Xerox printer from their personal laptop by downloading the necessary print drivers from the USF Purchasing site.
