4+1 MS in Computer Science
The USF 4+1 Master's in Computer Science is a dual degree program designed for undergraduates to take graduate level coursework during their final two years and then earn their MS degree in just one additional year after finishing their bachelor's. The application opens annually in late spring (April/May) and admission decisions are usually released by early June.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Complete the following courses by the application deadline with at least an A- grade
- CS 112 - Intermediate Java Programming and Design
- CS 221 - C & Systems Programming
- CS 245 - Data Structure & Algorithms
How to Apply
- Collect necessary documents: unofficial transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a statement of purpose
- Complete the advising worksheet
- Submit your application
