2025 Go Move Challenge: Week Two Recap

Happy Valentine's Day! The Go Move Challenge is officially half way over and involvement continues to be impressive: 2466 faculty and staff from the 22 participating Jesuit institutions have accumulated more than 1.1 million minutes of activity (as of 8:30 am pst)!

Have you checked the Go Move Challenge leaderboard? Santa Clara has come back in full force with double the minutes of 2nd place, Creighton. They definitely have been eating their Wheaties!!  There's still time to catch them. Remember, you can add your minutes retroactively.

Current standings (but changing by the minute):

  • Top minutes: Santa Clara, winning by over 100,000 minutes!
  • Top average number of minutes: Loyola University Chicago and Boston College
  • Top universities based on size:
    • Large: Loyola University Chicago
    • Medium: Santa Clara University
    • Small: Saint Peter's University

Saint Joseph's University

It's never too cold for Slapshot's daily walk regardless of the winter weather! Slapshot is the beloved mascot of the SJU Women's Rugby Team. Way to keep your owner, Greg Ebersole - Women's Rugby Head Coach, motivated and active in all weather!

Creighton University

The first Polar Walk of the season in Omaha. We had a snow day so the campus was closed, but planning another walk tomorrow. Bring your hats, boots, and gloves! Nothing is slowing down this crew. Go Creighton!

University of San Francisco

JJ Thorp took advantage of a beautiful day and Cross Country skied (classic style) at Royal Gorge. We were out for 3.5 hours and skied about 14,000 meters.

Saint Louis University
