Learning Center Leadership


Kim Rutledge, Director (she/her/hers)

Kim is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Retail Merchandising from Ohio University and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University. Currently, Kim is in the process of completing an Ed.D. in Learning and Instruction at USF. Working in the Learning Center, Kim’s greatest joy is regularly interacting with students and helping them take steps to achieve their goals.

KHULAN ZAGD, Assistant Director (she/her/hers)

Khulan holds a degree from the School of Foreign Services at the National University of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, where she majored in International Relations and British and American Studies. She furthered her education by obtaining her M.A. in Education with a focus on TESOL from CSU San Bernardino. Her diverse professional background encompasses roles as a faculty member and educator at adult schools, community colleges, and universities. Additionally, she has served as a translation editor for National Geographic Mongolia magazine and completed internships at the International Academy, University of Southern California (USC), and the National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington D.C. Fluent in both Russian and Mongolian, Khulan enjoys spending her free time watching movies and exploring new destinations.

tyler weber, program Assistant (she/They/ella/ellos)

Tyler was born and raised in California. She is originally from Los Angeles, but has been in the Bay for 10 years now and completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University. This will be her first year on staff and she is excited for new opportunities and connections with fellow staff and students. In her free time, Tyler enjoys spending time with her tripod pup and cats, watching movies and live performances, and exploring new corners of the city.

megan wang, Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program coordinator/Graduate Assistant (she/her/hers)

Megan is in her 4th year of the Clinical Psychology, Psy. D. program at the USF's School of Nursing and Health Professions. Prior to coming to USF, Megan earned her BS in Clinical Psychology at the University of California, San Diego, where she researched gender and race-based inequity within graduate STEM programs. She is currently researching and learning about the mental health experiences of Asian American firefighters. Megan is also interested in human cognition, technology-assisted learning, and accessibility in education. Her favorite part of working with students is exploring questions around "Who are we?" and "What is our story?"
