Graduate Student Engagement
While most University operations will be virtual this fall semester, we have been working diligently to create opportunities for you to get connected and engaged with everything USF has to offer. From leadership development sessions to career development workshops, the options for enhancing your experience as a Don are abundant.
Throughout the semester, you will be receiving the Dons Connect newsletter which will contain information about upcoming virtual events and opportunities. You can expect to see this in your USF email account.
Below is a list of engagement options designed specifically for graduate students.
Introduction to CliftonStrengths
Take Gallup’s CliftonStrengths Assessment and explore your Top 5 Strengths. This introductory workshop will allow you to explore your unique talents, learn about the talents of others, and identify how to apply your talents toward your educational, career, and personal goals. Pre-registration is required.
Graduate Student Senate
The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) exists to represent, lead, and unify the Associated Graduate Students of the University of San Francisco (AGSUSF), to achieve the betterment of the students in their professional and social interests, and to promote the coordination of activities and events for the graduate student population. You can get involved with GSS by attending the monthly meetings, joining a committee, or seeking an elected position. Also check out our opportunities for conference funding for individual graduate students.
