The purpose of MISC is to foster a safe, inclusive, and identity-affirming environment for undergraduate and graduate students who identify as, or stand in solidarity with, mixed, multiracial, multicultural, multiethnic, or racially ambiguous students. Through identity exploration, storytelling/sharing, cross-cultural understanding, cultural celebration, and advocacy, we aim to challenge stereotypes, promote belonging, explore and emphasize the multicultural experience, and build a campus community collective.
