Safety and Emergency

The University of San Francisco Bias Education and Resource Team (BERT) is a University-wide team that works to gather information about bias incidents and to support those individuals who have witnessed, or themselves become a target of, an act of bias.

The Department of Public Safety ensures a safe learning, working, and living environment at the University of San Francisco. Their 24-hour communication center and uniformed public safety officers proactively prepare against and respond to all reports of accidents, crimes, suspicious persons, hazards, and other emergencies.

USF Emergency Notification System: USF uses several systems to alert and inform students of emergencies and evacuation procedures.

The Office of Student Conduct, Rights and Responsibilities (OSCRR) is responsible for the overall administration and management of the University's conduct process involving nonacademic student misconduct.

USF cares about our students both inside and outside of the classroom. The Office of the Dean of Students is committed to the wellness and development of all USF students. We take a holistic approach, working with students to address all areas of their lives.

The Title IX Office's primary concern is your safety and well-being and it is tasked with following up on all reports of sexual misconduct experienced by USF community members.
