Support and Intervention

The University of San Francisco Bias Education and Resource Team (BERT) is a University-wide team that works to gather information about bias incidents and to support those individuals who have witnessed, or themselves become a target of, an act of bias.

Case Management, offered by the Office of the Dean of Students, provides support and intervention, consultation, crisis management, and education to address student challenges or difficulties that impact student success, wellness, and the campus community. 

The Center for Academic and Student Achievement (CASA) is your home for compassionate academic and personal support that promotes holistic student development.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides students with mental health services that allow them to improve and maintain their mental well-being and to meet their educational, personal, emotional and spiritual goals. 

The Cultural Centers include the Gender & Sexuality Center and the Intercultural Center. The centers serve as both physical spaces on campus where students build community, and as outlets for student-run programs that explore social issues and identity.

The Office of Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) seeks to promote a campus climate and culture that values diversity in all its forms - through inclusive dialogues, interpersonal experiences, and intercultural appreciation - in support of a thriving campus climate and inclusive excellence.

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) promotes a global perspective for the USF community through educational and programmatic outreach while fostering the holistic development of international students/scholars by providing support services and immigration advising.

The Office of the Dean of Students is a central place for you and other members of the University community to receive assistance with navigating the complex issues of student life.  

The mission of Student Disability Services (SDS) is to help USF students with disabilities serve as fully contributing and actively participating members of the University community while acquiring and developing the knowledge, skills, values, and sensitivity to become women and men for others. Toward that end, SDS promotes a fully integrated University experience for students with disabilities by ensuring that students have equal access to all areas of student life and receive appropriate educational support and services to foster their academic and personal success.

The Title IX Office's primary concern is your safety and well-being and it is tasked with following up on all reports of sexual misconduct experienced by USF community members.
