Institutional Aid
Institutional aid is a type of financial aid awarded by USF and does not need to be repaid. It can include both need-based and non need-based grants and scholarships. To determine financial need, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) is required. Typically, institutional aid can be used towards tuition only.
