Ananaya sees her role in Senate as not just representing students but also reimagining how their ideas can shape USF’s future. Leanna Leung is a Public Health major in the School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of San Francisco. She is passionate about uplifting nursing and health students’ voices and strives to ensure that everyone feels supported both academically and socially. Through her involvement in on-campus activities and volunteer work across the city, she has connected with diverse communities and gained a deeper understanding of her peers’ needs. Talia is a first-year Biology student, and they are currently the Accessibility Representative. They are excited to get to know the USF community better, as well as getting to know what needs are not being met in terms of accessibility to hopefully work on them. They are currently working on making the Student Disability Services office more visible and accessible to students. In correlation to making the SDS more visible, they are also planning to work on student retention rates that are related to student disabilities. Additionally, they hope to work to make ASL as well as the Deaf community more visible on campus.

Hannah is a first-year environmental science major with a public policy minor. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her 5 cats, going on walks outside, or exploring new cafes in the city. She is excited to advocate for equal access to sex education and provide more resources for students. In the past she has worked with planned parenthood, led safe sex workshops, done Narcan training, and organized fundraisers for various nonprofits.
