Dr. Ruha Benjamin, celebrated author, Princeton University professor, and visionary thinker invites us to reimagine the future of education. In her latest book, Imagination: A Manifesto, she inspires us to reclaim imagination as a powerful tool for collective liberation, echoing Toni Morrison’s call to “dream a little before you think."

This session will cover fundamental physical evasion and verbal de-escalation skills suitable for individuals of all experience levels to safely disengage from potential confrontations. Registration is required.

Join us for a virtual information session about USF's Short-Term Immersion Program in Salzburg, Austria.

Learn how this unique program allows participants to develop a better understanding of the processes and effects of becoming a global citizen.  Students will explore pressing issues of global concern from a variety of perspectives. With special attention to the political, economic and cultural history of globalization and its impact across the globe. Lastly, the sessions will formally address issues related to global responsibility, humanitarian intervention, social justice, and sustainable development. USF Men’s Basketball is hosting AAPI Night on Saturday, Jan. 25, vs. the San Diego Toreros (USD), and you are cordially invited to a pre-game celebration by the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Center, the Asia Pacific Alumni Network, the Asian Pacific American Studies program, and the API Collective.

Our IS/GLOBUS Geo Trivia Event at the start of the fall semester was so much FUN that we're doing it again! Gather a team of IS and USF friends, join up with one of our Peer Advisors - and test your GEO skills! Amazing prizes, hot cocoa/coffee and a fun snack for ALL who attend. Dr. Mohammad Subeh is an Emergency Physician and Traumatologist with over a decade of humanitarian work delivering critical, time-sensitive healthcare in low resource environments. Recently, he served on multiple medical missions to Gaza during the Gaza genocide establishing field hospitals in Rafah and Deir Al-Balah, and recently returned from a medical mission in southern Lebanon. With the current collapse of the Gazan healthcare system, his status update on the situation on the ground is vital.
