Mar Ruiz is committed to strengthening communication about the initiatives and resources Senate is working on for students. He is passionate about making student government more transparent and accessible by highlighting the work Senate does to support the campus community. Outside of Senate, Mar is interested in public policy, housing issues, and community advocacy, and hopes to pursue a career dedicated to building stronger and more equitable communities.

Leanna Leung is a Public Health major in the School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of San Francisco. She is passionate about uplifting students’ voices and strives to ensure that everyone feels supported both academically and socially. Through her involvement in on-campus activities and volunteer work across the city, she has connected with diverse communities and gained a deeper understanding of her peers’ needs. As your Vice President of Internal Affairs, she hopes to serve as a bridge between students and faculty, creating spaces where ideas and feedback can be shared openly. Leanna is excited to grow alongside her classmates and work together to build a stronger, more connected USF community!

Bethia Hormoz is a local from San Jose, pursuing a major in Sociology. She aspire to become a lawyer who is committed to uplifting other people's voices and ensuring that they are heard. She is devoted to being involved in campus organizations and programs to gain experience in collaboration and advocacy. As ASUSF VP of Finance, she strives to make the budgeting process fair, transparent, and responsive to student needs. Her goal is to support initiative that enrich the student experience and strengthen the campus community.

She is dedicated to amplifying student voices and increasing accessibility to senate to all students. This includes increasing clarity on what Senate is working on throughout the year. She is also dedicated to protecting and supporting student activists. Additionally, she aims to collaborate with campus organizations to ensure a diverse range of perspectives are represented in senate discussions. Ultimately, her goal is to empower every student and to have a meaningful impact on their university experience.
