The Language and Culture Center
The University of San Francisco created the Language and Culture Center (LCC) Writing Center to supplement Modern and Classical Language coursework and further assist students in their French, Japanese or Spanish writing skills.
Our team fosters creativity and student engagement with the cultural and social issues of the countries from which languages are taught in the University.
Feeling stuck or stumped on an MCL writing assignment? Check out our Writing Centers to learn how to set up a one-on-one appointment.
The Language and Culture Center (LCC) Resource Room, located on the ground floor of Cowell Hall G02, provides assistance to students, tutors, and faculty with media requests for all fourteen languages offered by Modern Classical Languages (MCL) and English courses offered by the Academic English for Multilingual Students program.
Cowell Hall G02

Students can view material in Cowell Hall G02 during our office hours. MCL tutors can borrow specific media assigned to them by their faculty. Walk-ins are welcomed, but reservations are preferred. Please contact email@example.com in advance so that we have time to prepare the resources you need.
Gleeson Library media reservations made by Faculty will be put on hold for short-term sign outs. Please contact Gleeson Library Reserves in advance to ensure your titles are not checked out as there may be multiple requests made during the semester. Students can also search the library for titles available that have been put on reserve by faculty.
Tutors from all languages are eligible to sign out CD, DVD/VHS, Textbooks and Literature from the Resource Room. Advanced reservations are recommended. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

It is recommended that Faculty attend these workshops prior to using the software. A dry run is recommended before using these computer resources.
