Career Services has a limited number of $1,000 taxable stipends available to eligible undergraduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences who have completed a UNPAID internship in the past calendar year.

- Updated Resume* Please include details of your internship. You are also more than welcome to schedule a resume review with a career counselor for additional support.
- Verification of Hours or Recommendation. Please provide us with verification from your internship supervisor indicating that you worked a minimum of 8 weeks, with a commitment of 10 - 30 hours per week during the internship. This document should include a detailed list of dates and times you were present at the internship, accompanied by your supervisor's signature to confirm its accuracy.
- Alternatively, your supervisor can also offer a letter of recommendation that emphasizes your performance and dedication throughout the internship, while also confirming that you completed a minimum of 8 weeks, maintaining a weekly commitment of 10-30 hours.
- Short Essay. Write a 250-word essay describing three valuable lessons you learned during your summer internship. Share your growth, experiences, and how this internship impacted your personal and professional development.
*Please note, that seeking an appointment or attending drop-in hours, will not count as additional points for better consideration to be selected, although it is highly recommended.

The unpaid internship stipend amount is $1,000 which counts as taxable income. The stipend will be paid through USFWorks.
For the remainder of the Spring 2025 semester, the application process for this opportunity will be rolling. Since we have a limited number of stipends, not all who apply for the stipend will be awarded.
