Join us as we recognize the accomplishments and achievements of First Generation College Students at USF and nationwide. First Generation college students and their allies are welcome at our event on November 8, 2022.

First-Generation Resource Guides
The resource guides were created in an effort to support the community around definitions, issues, and pedagogical approaches to serving first-generation college students.
The following learning objectives were used to help guide the creation of the resource guides:
- Define "first-generation college student"
- Identify three challenges that first generation college student face in the college environment
- Demonstrate teaching techniques to support first generation college students
- Name three resources that USF provides for first generation college students
