Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL)
Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL), offered in the fall and spring, provides additional opportunities for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry students to further engage in current course topics while earning course credit.
PLTL teams meet weekly for two hours. Students in teams of 8-10, work collaboratively to solve challenging chemistry problems and participate in additional activities closely aligned with the General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Syllabi. Research shows that participants generally score 10% higher on exams than non-participants.
To enroll in PLTL, search the Schedule of Classes for Loading... or Loading... and Chem 290: Wkshp in Org Chem 230 or Chem 291: Wkshp in Org Chem 231. Courses are one unit and offered Pass/Fail.
For instructions on registering for classes, follow this guide on how to register for classes.
