Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL)

Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL), offered in fall and spring, provides additional opportunity for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry students to further engage in current course topics while earning course credit. PLTL teams meet weekly for two hours. Students, in teams of 8-10, work collaboratively to solve challenging chemistry problems and participate in additional activities closely aligned with the General Chemistry Syllabus. Research shows that participants generally score 10% higher on exams than non participants.
