Potential Limitations on CAPS Services Outside of California

Licensing regulations prevent CAPS from providing remote therapy to students in specific locations outside of California. This determination will be made on the basis of the laws in the state or country where you are currently located. Due to concerns for your safety, and in accordance with ethical guidelines, CAPS cannot provide ongoing remote therapy to students at risk of suicide or harming others. However, we can provide short-term triage support as we assist you in the process of connecting with alternative local and/or in-person services.
