Black Student Orientation (BSO)
BSO is all about helping you settle into college life, get familiar with key resources, and connect with the vibrant and diverse Black-identified community at USF. All students are welcome to join, build community, and find a sense of belonging through intercultural learning.
- Our orientation kicks off with a warm Community Welcome for students and their family members on Wednesday, August 13, followed by an informative, orientation for students on Friday, August 15.
- Remember to sign up for Orientation and opt-in for BSO!
BSO Fall 2025:
- NOTE: These dates are subject to change. If timing needs to change, in accordance with public health guidance, we will communicate adjustments as quickly as possible.
- Black Community Welcome: Wednesday, August 13, from 1:30 - 2:30 PM
- Black Student Orientation: Friday, August 15, from 5 - 6:30 PM.
