Fellowship Overview

Here's What to Expect

In order to be inducted into the Magis Alumni Society, Fellows of the program must participate in the outlined events below. If you are interested in the program, it is imperative that you are available on Tuesday evenings between 6:30–8:30 p.m., as most of the program requirements fall during that time.

COVID-19 Stance

In order to participate in the Magis Emerging Leadership Program, students must comply with the standards set by the University of San Francisco for in-person engagement, as defined by USF Together. All fellows and Leadership Team members will be expected to meet in person as often as possible under the USF guidances that are set below:

Here is the tentative list of required events for the 2024–2025 Magis Emerging Leadership Program:

Alumni Reunion & Induction Ceremony Tuesday, April 22 7–9 p.m. Xavier Auditorium, Fromm Hall 

Additional Fellowship Requirements

Beyond the structured events listed above, fellows are expected to:

  • Engage in coaching sessions each semester with the Leadership Team;
  • Interview Alumni of the program;
  • Collaborate with an assigned team of Fellows to plan and execute a community action project that, "Makes the world a better place";
  • Become an active member of a registered student organization or committee at USF;
  • Complete an exit interview
