Fellowship Overview
Here's What to Expect
To be inducted into the Magis Alumni Society, Fellows of the program must participate in the outlined events below. If you are interested in the program, you must be available on Tuesday evenings between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., as most of the program requirements fall within this time frame.
Here is the tentative list of required events for the 2026-27 Magis Emerging Leadership Program:

Additional Fellowship Requirements
Beyond the structured events listed above, fellows are expected to:
- Prepare, interview, and submit a reflection on an informational interview with an assigned Magis alum;
- Meet once per semester with an assigned Mentor from the Leadership Team to be coached on leadership
- Collaborate with an assigned team of five peers to plan, practice, and perform a talent act for the Magis M-Factor and contribute to fundraising goals;
- Collaborate with an assigned team of five peers to plan and execute a community action project that addresses campus-identified needs
- Become an active member of a registered student organization or committee at USF;
- Actively connect and serve/volunteer at least 10 hours with local nonprofits, like City Hope;
- Complete at least one one-hour professional coaching session with the Program Director of the Change the World From Here Institute.
