Department of Economics

Change the world from here, with data! Be part of the Economics program! The Economics Department at the University of San Francisco offers students an opportunity to live and learn in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Our faculty are distinguished economists who have gained national and international recognition for their research and scholarship. Small classes and opportunities to participate in faculty research projects are enhanced by our location in San Francisco Bay Area, the financial capital of the West and the technology capital of the world, where students can visit economic institutions, hear world-renowned speakers in the field, and engage in internships at such sites as the Federal Reserve Bank and Google.
