Sexual Well-Being

The Jesuit Catholic tradition believes in the importance of integrity and that sex education should never be reduced to a mere communication of information. Rather, it must always be placed in a setting where the rich human, personal and spiritual values of sexuality are explored and given meaning.

The University of San Francisco offers a range of reproductive health, sexual transmitted infection (STI) and sexual violence prevention resources to promote sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social well being. We believe sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, free of pressure, discrimination and violence.
