Student Health Clinic at UCSF Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals
It’s with great excitement that we announce Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and their associated clinics, which includes the USF-partnered student health clinics at St Mary's, Oracle Ballpark, and Saint Francis, are now part of UCSF Health.
For more information, please see the FAQ on UCSF Health’s website.
Student Health Clinic Policy
The Student Health Clinic at UCSF Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals will not charge current students the co-payment for consultations with a primary care physician located at St Mary's, Oracle Ballpark, and Saint Francis.
Although there is no co-pay to students for the office visit at these clinics, the student's health insurance will be billed for the office visit and services rendered. Plan to arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you are late, your appointment may be rescheduled.
If you are NOT registered for credit hours (summer and winter intersessions), you can still be seen at UCSF Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals but your health insurance or you will be responsible for all costs associated with your visit to these clinics.

Schedule Appointment Online
As we go through this transition, students can still go online to find a doctor at UCSF-St. Mary's, to schedule an appointment online with primary care doctors. As a reminder, the Student Health Clinic partnership at UCSF Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals is only located at St Mary's, Oracle Ballpark, and Saint Francis.
* When scheduling an appointment online, please make sure you select an in-person visit. Virtual visits are currently not covered under the Aetna Student Health Plan at UCSF Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals. If you are looking for a virtual visit, please utilize Teladoc.
Bring the following to your appointment:
- A valid USF student ID
- Health Insurance Card
If you do not know your health insurance information, please contact Health Promotion Services at (415) 422-5797 or hps@usfca.edu. Although HPS staff can offer assistance, it is ultimately the student's responsibility to determine their insurance coverage.
Pharmacy
These clinics will not dispense medication. The nearest pharmacy to the main campus is CVS Pharmacy near Target at Masonic.
