Health Plan Benefits

To help our students make informed decisions about their health and well being, the University of San Francisco is committed to providing the services, information and referrals they need in a supportive and caring environment. Sickness and accidents do happen, and USF's health insurance plan is designed to help prevent medical bills from disrupting a student's college education.

This plan must comply with all applicable provisions of federal, state and local law, and it includes coverage—as required—that does not necessarily reflect the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. As a Jesuit Catholic university, the University of San Francisco affirms the intrinsic value of human life and the dignity of every human being.

Students do not need a referral from the USF Student Health Clinic to see a Doctor in Aetna's Preferred Network. Students can find a Healthcare or Mental Health provider by visiting Aetna's Doc Find.

If you have any questions about medical care and the plan benefits please call Aetna's customer service at (877) 480-4161.
