Spring 2026 Mandatory International Student Activities

All new graduate and undergraduate students are required to attend the International Student Orientation, which includes the online Pre-Arrival Orientation Course (on Canvas) and the in-person session. The mandatory online Pre-Arrival course is designed to make your transition to USF smoother. All students attending their USF program in San Francisco, will also be required to attend the in-person orientation program upon arrival. The in-person sessions will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026 for graduate and undergraduate students. These sessions are designed to address the most common questions and concerns that international students have as well as covering important information such as immigration regulations pertaining to your visa, academic expectations, and cultural adjustment.

Spring 2026 Additional International Student Activities

ISSS will offer optional activities including social events, workshops, and information sessions to help incoming international students get settled and meet new friends. These events are for undergraduate and graduate students and details are posted in the schedule below.
