The payment plan provides a convenient means for paying tuition, fees, and room and board through regularly scheduled payments. USF expects that students will either enroll in the semester payment plan or make a full payment for all charges by the payment due date for each term. If payment is not received or if you have not enrolled in the payment plan by the due date, your course registration may be canceled.

You can enroll in the semester payment plan online and set up automatic payments. The semester payment plan is available for the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

To learn more and to enroll, please visit here.

You may send an email to paymentplan@usfca.edu for information specific to your plan.

It's easy! Log onto your myUSF account with your username and password. The information was provided to you by our Graduate Admissions Office via email shortly after you received your acceptance letter. If you cannot find this information now, then please contact USF’s ITS Department at 422-6668 for this information.

Log on:  https://myusf.usfca.edu/

Once you are logged into your myUSF account, go to “email”, click on “options”, click on “settings” where you will see the “mail forwarding” field to fill in.

It is very important to note that once you are a registered student, the Department will no longer use your personal email address to send you important email communications. Therefore, you must take action to have your myUSF emails automatically forwarded to one of your personal email accounts that you regularly check, or check your myUSF email regularly.

Here's how you set up your myUSF account:
  • Go to myusf.usfca.edu/caslogin and enter the username provided on your admission status page (https://gradapply.usfca.edu/apply/status). If you can't find your username, email asgraduate@usfca.edu and ask for your Banner username.

  • Leave the password box blank (your USF ID number is NOT your password).

  • Click on "Problems signing in?

  • Select "Reset Password."

Please follow the instruction here to set up your One Card. New students must complete this step before arriving on campus in order to have access to different buildings and classrooms.

You can view the latest COVID-19 vaccination requirements and testing information here. For all questions related to COVID-19, please contact USF Health Promotion Services at hps@usfca.edu or call (415) 422-5797

There are printers for students to use for printing/copying/scanning available throughout the USF campus. Please follow the Self-Service Print/Copy Program instruction to get started.

There are two sources of funding for graduate students to apply to support their professional development.

  • The Student Travel Fund (STF), managed directly by the Dean's office, primarily supports students' travel related to their research. Students will be notified via email when the application opens every academic year. All MSIDEC students are encouraged to apply for STF to supplement their fieldwork travel fund provided by the department.
  • AGSUSF Conference Funding

*The Economics department does not manage or review applications for either grants.
