BASE Graduate Intern
Hannah Beauchamp-Pope
Hey everyone! My name is Hannah Beauchamp-Pope, and I am a second year law student at USF. I am originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin - Go Pack Go! I hope to someday use the law as a tool to effect change within black, brown, and working class communities. As a system impacted individual, I am interested in public defense, with a specific interest in capital defense. However, I am also passionate about getting to the root of mass incarceration, by addressing socio-economic hardships and the capitalistic root of those obstacles. I also have a deep passion for student organizing, power to the students!! I hope to serve the Black community here at USF by fostering relationships between Black Graduate students to create the connections we need to sustain and excel in higher education. One of the key causes to retention in higher education is feeling a sense of belonging, and by participating in a beloved community I think we can get Black students the support, resources, care and comradery that is needed to do our best at USF.

Alam Frazier '27
BASE Student Intern
Hey y’all! My name is Alma Frazier, and I am currently a second-year Public Health major with minors in Humanistic Management and Health Studies on a pre-med track. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I am deeply passionate about improving the health and well-being of minorities who are often overlooked within the medical field.
My goal is to serve the Black community at USF by creating spaces where the diversity of Blackness is celebrated and where meaningful conversations on challenging topics can take place without fear of ridicule or dismissal. Additionally, I aim to provide Black students with valuable networking opportunities and empower them to support one another both during their time on campus and beyond.

Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee Wright, and I am a Junior Marketing major with a double minor in Film Studies and Media Studies. I transferred to USF, last year, from my small hometown in New Jersey. My passion is to improve the perception of Black people in the Media and allow our diverse stories to be told. This year, I am honored to serve the Black community here at USF through programs that encourage vulnerability and understanding. I also hope to keep an open channel of communication amongst the Black students at USF to ensure their voices are heard.
Jaide Dixon '26
BASE Student Intern
Hello everyone! My name is Jaide Dixon, I am a third-year Politics major and Criminal Justice Studies minor. I am from southern California, more specifically Lake Elsinore in the Inland Empire. In the future, I plan to practice criminal and constitutional law and utilize my abilities to help those of lower socio-economic status receive adequate legal counsel so that they and their families receive justice. As a critical component in BASE this year, I plan to serve the Black community at USF by encouraging discussion of Black celebration and love amongst each other. Additionally, I plan to encourage community engagement in the Black-centered events on campus to uplift the presence of Black student organizations.
