Meet the Team
Anne Kimberly Bornilla (Kim)
PACT Graduate Intern
Kim has been a part of the PACT program since entering USF as an eager freshman. After obtaining her B.A. in English with a minor in communications, she has returned to complete her masters in Education and continue her support for this beloved program. Aside from working with the university’s wonderful undergraduate students or SF’s toddlers as an aspiring teacher, she furthers her love for boba and matcha as a barista in a cafe. Having experienced the highs and lows of navigating college as an undergraduate student, she has learned a few tips and tricks to ensure holistic student success. She seeks to ensure accessibility to resources for all students while fostering community within the PACT program.
Jia Li Chen
Accountability Partner
Major: Biology, Chemistry minor
Jia Li is from Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory near Guam. She is a junior majoring in biology with a chemistry minor and is on the pre-med track. After graduation, Jia hopes to attend medical school. She is excited to connect with everyone in the program.
Henna Kalumbu

Major: Psychology
Nenna is a junior who loves getting involved on campus and in the San Francisco community. Having been a mentee herself, she understands the importance of having a mentor, especially when transitioning to college. Nenna is excited to start working with mentees and the amazing team of accountability partners and staff.
Danielle Vo
Accountability Partner
Major: Finance & Accounting
Danielle is from Walnut, California, and is a junior majoring in both Finance and Accounting. Her goal is to build a career through internships or other work experiences in the industry. Having been with PACT for the past two years, Danielle looks forward to another year with them.
Jhezrel Prado-English
Accountability Partner
Major: Sociology
Jhezrel Prado-English is a Junior majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology, Law, and Society, and minoring in Health Studies. Her career aspirations lie between Public Health and Forensics, though she is still deciding which field to pursue. A Bay Area native, Jhezrel is excited about what this school year will bring.
Gabi Romeo
Accountability Partner
Major: Psychology
Gabi is a third-year psychology major with minors in neuroscience and child and youth studies. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Gabi has also lived in Japan and the Philippines. She is working towards becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist. When not studying, Gabi enjoys hanging out with friends and exploring the café scenes of San Francisco.
Yari Lievanos

Major: Psyhcology
Yara Lievanos is from Orange County, California, and is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies on the Pre-Med track. She loves going on adventures and is excited to meet everyone.
Hanna Clute
Accountability Partner
Major: Art History and Museum Studies
Hanna is a second-year Art History and Museum Studies major from Hood River, Oregon, a small town about an hour from Portland. She plans to continue her studies in graduate school and work in the museum industry after graduation. Outside of school and work, Hanna enjoys thrifting, photography, and exploring the city.
Shanoon Sun
Accountability Partner
Major: Business Analytics
Shanoon Sun is a sophomore international student from China, majoring in Business Analytcis. Besides her academic pursuits, Shanoon enjoys drawing, skiing, and swimming. She loves making new friends and interacting with people from all backgrounds.

PACT Mentees are paired with an upper-level student (Accountability Partner) in the same academic major / discipline who will provide you with additional support during your first-year transitioning to USF. PACT Mentees in academic year 2022-23 had a retention rate of 88% and a cumulative GPA of 3.44 after this first-year atUSF.
