Interfaith and Social Justice

In accordance with the mission of the University of San Francisco, University Ministry's Interfaith Social Justice Program (ISJ) invites students to step outside of their familiar university lives, and walk with people at the margins of society, and in doing so, open their minds and hearts to personal transformation done through community-based learning in the Jesuit tradition.

ISJ aims to:

Promote "faith that does justice"

Develop leaders who will fashion a more humane and just world

Inspire students to live lives of hope, passion, integrity, and purpose

Instill in students the values of services and social justice for social change

Worship Opportunities

USF embraces people of all faiths. Throughout the academic year, students of all religious traditions gather to examine their own values and explore new faith traditions around campus. University Ministry offers opportunities and information about worship in other faith traditions in this community and in the local area.
