Find an MSDS/SDS

The Material Data Safety Sheet (MSDS), or more recently the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), is a multi-page chemical fact sheet with specific information about each hazardous material (chemical) made by the manufacturer and is intended to provide comprehensive information about the chemical or compound.

USFCA MSDS Database

Open All

The MSDS Database contains a list of all MSDS and SDS chemical documents we have on record.

  1. Make sure that you're connected to the USFCA VPN.
  2. Click on the link to our MSDS Database.
  3. Click on "Sign In as Guest".
  4. To search for a specific chemical, press the magnifying glass icon and then click on "Enter Find Mode".
  5. Search for a specific safety data sheet by entering the chemical name, manufacturer, or CAS# into the corresponding search field. Then click on the "Perform" button. 
  6. Navigate through the different search results using the forward and backward arrow buttons.
  7. Once you've located the correct chemical entry, view the different MSDS or SDS PDF version by pressing the black arrow on the corresponding PDF entry.
  8. Use the PDFs navigation bar to browse, download, print, etc.
  9. When you are finished with this file, press the "Return to MSDS Main" button to return to the previous layout

 

 

Send an email to the Environmental Health and Safety office with the chemical name, manufacturer, and year of the MSDS or SDS and we will add it to the database.
