Clip, Cut, Connect for BIPOC Mental Wellness

Clip, Cut, Connect is an on-campus program that offers free, culturally responsive haircuts for USF students while creating a welcoming space for BIPOC students to talk about mental health and build community connection. The haircuts are provided by trained barbers and stylists from ClipDart, a nationwide organization that believes that culturally competent haircare is a form of wellness rather than just a service.

What to Expect

  • Drop-ins are welcome as long as there is space available. Even if you do not plan to get a clip or cut, we invite you to still join us, and support BIPOC mental wellness.
  • Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes gender-inclusive hair services tailored to your needs.
  • Talk to your barber or stylist about the look you want, and check in during the session to make sure you're happy with how it's going.
  • Whether you're getting a cut or simply stopping by, take this time to relax, engage, and prioritize your well-being.
